Pacific Connections Garden Interpretive Shelter, Washington Park Arboretum

Among the many thoughtfully designed elements, a terazzo and brass map is embedded into the floor and this 300-square foot shelter has a Green Roof. Cedar trees salvaged from the Arboretum were used for the columns and volunteers hand carved designs of indigenous people of the Pacific Rim region onto them.
