Pomegranate Center Summer Spruce-Up

Work Party August 2nd, 2014, 10am-6pm

Pomegranate Center has been strengthening communities for more than 28 years. From right here in Issaquah (Pickering Place Park, Pickering Barn Learning Garden, and Ashland Park to name a few) to Tuscaloosa, AL to San Diego, CA, Walla Walla, WA, and more, Pomegranate Center’s placemaking work has resulted in 40+ beautifully designed, community-built projects. However, Pomegranate Center’s creative energy has never been directed toward their very own headquarters.

So… roll up your sleeves and join in a Pomegranate-style work party! It’s a Carve-a-thon, Paint Party, Building Session and reason to get together and celebrate they joy of community engagement August 2nd, 2014. It will be a joyful day of carving, painting, restoration work, gardening, building and banner making. Learn first-hand Pomegranate Center’s creative, collaborative, transformative practices that make a powerful impact in a short period of time.

Wear your work clothes, pack sunscreen and join us. All ages and all ability-levels are welcome. Pizza, beer, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, bocce ball and sack races for those who like to work hard and play hard!
