From our humble beginning in founder Milenko Matanovic’s home through twenty-five years in our current Issaquah location, it’s time again for the Pomegranate Center to move on. At the start of May, we’re relocating to the Impact Hub, a co-working space for nonprofits located in Seattle’s Pioneer Square.
Our quirky and charming building in Issaquah has suited us well through this first chapter of our organization’s story, but now as we expand both our staff and the scope of our work, we find it is time to move into the bustling action of Seattle. We look forward to exploring our new neighborhood, connecting with our many project partners and associates already working in Seattle, and meeting other nonprofit professionals at Impact Hub to grow our network with other community-focused organizations.
For the next couple of weeks, we’ll be busy organizing, packing, and moving to our new office. We’ll continue to provide updates about our move and other exciting developments through our newsletter and Facebook page. If you want to stop by and say goodbye, grab a Pomegranate memento, or suggest a new lunch spot for us to try in Pioneer Square, please reach out at anytime. We may be moving to a new zip code, but our focus on local communities–Issaquah and beyond–remains the centerpiece of our work.
