Children’s Gateway

Built adjacent to a public elementary school, this pocket park consists of an outdoor gathering circle constructed of cedar and a sculptural gateway made of recycled brick, local river-rock and iron. The gateway welcomes children living in the neighborhood apartments to use the playground after school hours. The gathering circle serves as an outdoor classroom for teachers and students.
