Fierce Facilitator

June 11, 2019

“You need to be fierce about protecting the space where people can talk to each other in a way that’s collaborative, that’s useful.”

We believe being a “Fierce Facilitator” is an active and crucial role. A person in this role has a tremendous responsibility to protect the space and process for every person in the room. The facilitator can make or break an experience for an entire community, they can create a space that’s inviting for all or they can allow the natural tendencies of others to overtake the community and potentially isolate participants.

Allow us to introduce the fifth installment of our video series, in it we make the case for why facilitators must protect the process fiercely.

Special thanks to the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust for their generous support in the making of the series.
